The Berkeley Partnership

Profile

Having spent the early part of my career exploring the usual career suspects for an Electronics Engineering graduate from UCL, ie a software house (Data Sciences), a Bank (Chase) and a Consultancy (Andersen), I came to the conclusion that none of them quite fitted the bill. So in 1990 Mark, Charles, David Evans and I founded The Berkeley Partnership.

My main motivations then were (and still are), to work with people (both clients and consultants) that I respected professionally and liked; to work in a co-operative and supportive environment that was nevertheless intolerant of mediocrity; and to work with clients on challenging assignments that really made a difference; oh, and to have fun while you are doing it.

Outside the office I spend a lot of time wondering why Galileo's cannon balls may all drop at the same speed but different weight cyclists certainly don't.
